Conflicts of interest attract Senate attention

This is a story that has been circling for some time. Although it involves an orthopedic surgeon. The topic is germaine to all medical fields. It involves  the issue of industry support, especially with regards to ghost writing and industry supported research. Dr Tim Kuklo is the orthopedic surgeon at the center is this turmoil. He previously worked at Walter Reed and has been on faculty at Wash U. The company allegedly providing the support is Medtronic
